Kanye West, AKA Ye, is one of the more influential yet controversial artists of all time. Born in Atlanta, he soon moved to Chicago with his mother when he was three years old. His mother, Donda raised him well as he was a top pupil in high school. But his musical desires overcame his academics and dropped out. Kanye West has gone from a hip-hop beat producer to being tied with the most Grammys in hip-hop (Twenty-Four), breaking multiple records, his own record label, fashion line, solo albums and collab albums. Ye has also collaborated with some of the most interesting and top names in the Music Industry, including Kid Cudi, Elton John, Rihanna, Rick Ross, Paul McCartney, Nas, and JAY-Z JUST to name a few.
Kanye West has one of the best discographies in all of music. Ranging from his most hip-hop album "The College Dropout" (2004) his most experimental album "Yeezus" (2013) his most 'rap' produced album "The Life Of Pablo" (2016) and his gospel project "Jesus Is King" (2019). Ye has produced something for everyone, including his most influential album, "808s & Heartbreak (2008) which wasn't even supposed to happen. If it didn't it wouldn't have had the chance to influence so many artists including the likes of Chance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Logic, Drake, and Travis Scott to name a few, with a lot of people saying there would be no Cactus Jack without Yeezy.
